For the people who live along the rivers and canals of Bangkok, floating markets used to be a way a life as they traded their goods for foods and necessities.

These floating markets are really cool. i think it would be fun to float around all day selling your produce in a boat. i bet if i was doing it, i would tip my boat over!
The floating markets are cool! The boats are flat bottomed, and pretty wide to accomodate their goods, so there's not much chance of tipping over while you're in them...it's getting in and out that is the trick! When you visit they take you on them to ride through the market. It gets really busy and it's nearly impossible to move the boats.
