Hoi An











Just to the south of Da Nang lies Hoi An. This town was an important trading port from the 16th to the 18th century. Because it attracted traders from China, Japan and Europe, the town acquired a rich cultureal heritage.

The Japanese Covered bridge is a prominent landmark that was constructed in 1593 to connectt the Japanese trading community to the Chinese quarter.
