My Son

My Son was a Cham religious center between the 4th and 13th centuries. There are remenants of an estimated 70 temples, though only about 20 are in good condition because of dense vegetation and US bombing during the Vientam War.

You are right Brenden, I am VERY blessed to have had the opportunity to visit these places. Maybe someday you will have the opportunity as well.

The temples are beautiful with the vegetation growing on them. Unfortunately the roots of the trees and plants destroy the stonework from which the temples are built. They have a real problem deciding if they should leave the beautiful vegetation, or save the old, old temples. Do you have any ideas for how they might solve the problem?
